Tipperary County Council publishes a Register of Payments to Members each quarter. Payments to elected members are lawful statutory remuneration and allowances; this page records what the registers print and draws no conclusion about their value or about any member's conduct.

The registers publish no annual total. The €1,855,337.83 figure is this site's arithmetic: the sum of every printed "Total Payments" field across the four registers, checked by two independent extractions that agree to the cent. The per-member pages below cite each quarter and PDF page.
What the payments consist of
Using the registers' own field labels, the €1,855,337.83 is made up of: "Sum of Annual Remuneration" €1,233,090.92 and "Sum of Annual Allowance" €267,811.28 (together €1,500,902.20, about 81%); Local Representation Allowance €116,583.77; Training €106,761.14; Borough/Municipal District Chair allowance €42,138.61; Strategic Policy Committee Chair allowance €40,846.29; Cathaoirleach Allowance €20,769.30; Conference €13,204.30; Security Allowance €5,527.75; Leas-Cathaoirleach Allowance €4,615.40; External Body payments €2,022.03; Cathaoirleach Expenses €1,967.04. These twelve fields sum exactly to €1,855,337.83. The registers print no category glossary; the labels are the Council's.
Caveats that travel with these figures
- The Q3 2025 register's printed cover reads "1st July 2024 to 30th September 2025". Its amounts are of one quarter's scale (€439,924.17 county-wide, against €420k–€516k for the other quarters); the Council has not corrected the cover, so it is quoted as printed.
- Q1 2025 prints 39 member tables; Q2–Q4 print 40.
- "Sum of Annual Remuneration" is a printed field label; its values are quarterly amounts.

Their 2025 printed totals sum to €545,385.07, 29.4% of the county figure from 11 of the 39–40 members listed across the quarters.
